This wedding was postponed for 2 years! But finally, after being together for 7 years and the cloud of Covid-19 behind them, A & G arrived their big day. This day was special for them. I could see all emotion going through them together with their loved ones. The groom (G) and I had a chat, he shows me his Instagram. It was filled with selfies, friends, family and of course his beautiful bride, A. In that moment I realised that of course, G is loving the chance to celebrate his love with their and friends and no doubt, enjoying being the centre of attention. Whereas our bride was the opposite, she was more relaxed, composed and nervous, wanting to make sure that everyone will enjoy themselves. Then they dropped a big surprise, today wasn’t just a special day for them, but for little Theo, their gorgeous son, who would be celebrating his first birthday today! Armed with this information, I knew that today was more than just a day to celebrate love, but a day to celebrate Theo too. I made sure to find the perfect balance of photographs of all 3 together for this wonderful day.
Once the ceremony was sealed with a hug and kisses, I then went to look around different areas to do their couple shoot. The bride, ever the sensitive beauty, didn’t want to go too far from the venue as she was prioritizing her guests and of course her son, which I understood. I wanted to make sure they were both relaxed and enjoyed taking their stunning photos. The couple shoot was one of the quickest I’ve done, but it was worth it. They both efficient and active in term of responding to direction. The level of chemistry between the two was just amazing. After the speeches, food and drink Theo celebrations began. The little man was very tired but managed to power through. It was the quickest birthday celebration I’ve been to in a long time, but a great one. I could not be much happier to witness the joy in this beautiful and loving family. It was a stunning wedding and am sure that it is a day they will never forget.
